The flow of inbound tourism in St. Petersburg in the coming years will continue to grow, but at a modest pace. For the dynamics to be noticeable, you need electronic visas.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has already agreed on a simplified entry into Russia for the participants of the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which will be held in St. Petersburg in September 2019.
The mechanism will be similar to FanID for fans of the World Cup. The validity of the e-visa will be 14 days. It is expected that within the framework of the conference, Petersburg will be visited by up to one and a half thousand guests.
In December, the City Government also applied to Moscow with a request to include the city in a pilot project on testing the electronic visa mechanism. But no response has yet been received.
In the meantime, the company “LinkRus” draws up visas and invitations for foreign tourists as soon as possible and at low prices!
